I’ve been selling real estate in South Central Pennsylvania since 2002, and after nearly 25 years in the business, one thing hasn’t changed: real estate is about relationships.
My business is built primarily by referral. I have the privilege of working with past clients again and again—and with their friends, families, neighbors and coworkers. People do business with people they know, like and trust, and I’ve built my career by earning that trust one client, one transaction and one relationship at a time.
I’m an Associate Broker with Turn Key Realty Group, Team Leader and Listing Specialist for The Cathie Heika Team. As an accomplished real estate professional, earning my Associate Broker’s license was an important milestone, requiring additional education and substantial real-world real estate experience. It is a distinction held by a relatively small percentage of real estate professionals.
Over the years, my work has grown beyond helping clients buy and sell homes. I have been both a mentor and a manager and currently lead two dedicated buyer agents, Judy Butler and Aaron Harchak. I serve as the team’s Listing and Marketing Specialist, while Judy and Aaron provide dedicated representation to our buyer clients. Together, we offer the experience and personal service of a small team without losing the one-on-one relationships our business was built on.
New Cumberland is my home and the heart of my business, but my client and referral network reaches throughout South Central Pennsylvania. I work throughout the Greater Harrisburg area with longtime ties across the region. I know this market because I don’t just work here—I live here, volunteer here and have spent decades building relationships here.
And volunteering? That’s pretty much my sport. I currently serve as a Board member of both the New Cumberland Olde Towne Association and the Blue Moon Cruisers. I have also long supported local animal rescue and welfare efforts—causes that have always been important to me. Community involvement is a natural extension of both my life and my business.
Away from real estate, I’m an unapologetic animal lover, dog and alpaca owner, car enthusiast and neighborhood ambassador.
I’ve earned plenty of real estate designations over the years, and I’m proud of them. But nearly a quarter-century into this career, the things that mean the most to me aren’t the letters after my name. They’re the clients who call me again years later, the people who trust me enough to send someone they care about my way and the agents I’ve had the opportunity to mentor and work with along the way.
